ZUHAUSE No. 4 / HOME No. 4 (Vonovia Award for Photography), Vienna 2021
For the second time, BUWOG presented all of the photo series nominated for the shortlist of the Vonovia Award for Photography 2020. The ZUHAUSE No. 4 exhibition, curated by Reinhard Spieler, invited customers, employees and the interested public to discover artistic interpretations of being at home that tell of feelings, places, moods and memories. 575 professional photographers and newcomer talent submitted 6,800 individual images. Anja Engelke with Room 125 (1st), Ingmar Björn Nolting with Neuland / Uncharted Terrain (2nd) and Tine Edel with Die vier Wände / Four Walls (3rd) were awarded for the “Best Photo Series”, while Valentin Goppel was named “Best Newcomer Series” with allá en la pampa / there in the pampa. Vonovia has been bestowing the € 42,000 prize every year since 2017.
