Ausstellung: KunstLicht / ArtLight
With KunstLicht, Grita Insam juxtaposed 11 established, newer, national and international works that are characterised by light as a material basis or central theme. The show, with which BUWOG first introduced its commitment to art, also made visible the strong architectural reference in the work of the selected artists. In accompanying events, KunstLicht invited people to discuss current architectural reporting and called attention to housing as an “artistically neglected stage” yet at the same time the most suitable venue to bring people into contact with art. As a result, BUWOG immediately won the main MAECENAS award for the “Best Newcomer to Art Sponsoring in 2002”.
