The Vonovia Award for Photography has established itself as a recognised stage for professionals and young talent in the field of artistic photography in the German-speaking world. BUWOG regularly brings the works of all of those nominated for the shortlist of the annual award to Vienna, thereby expanding the reach of its parent company's activities in promoting art. Once again, photo series were on display that address the qualities, personal perceptions, spatial formations and socially traditional attributions of HOME from a wide variety of perspectives, cultural circles and generations. The “Best Photo Series” was won by Philip Cheung with Days of Destruction (1st), David Klammer with Die Linie // Was vom Wasser blieb / The Line // What Remained of the Water (2nd) and Takako Kido with Skinship (3rd); Francecsa Hummler won the young talent competition with Unsere Puppenstube / Our Dollhouse.
