BUWOG Bauträger GmbH is now a member of the association “German Platform for Technology and Innovation (gpti)”, the biggest network for proptech companies and digitally savvy corporates in the DACH region.
As the first property developer in this initiative, BUWOG will contribute its property industry experience and expertise from new construction and neighbourhood development. Membership also makes it possible to advance current and future innovations as well as trends and implement them more quickly. In addition to digitalisation and AI, BUWOG is focusing on the sustainable transformation of new construction on building sites – in particular, innovative building materials, production techniques and structures.

BUWOG is also active in the COALITION FOR TIMBER CONSTRUCTION and plans to build around 20 percent of its new apartments as timber structures. BUWOG recently won the German Brand Award 2024 and the “Excellent Sustainability 2024” seal of approval from the F.A.Z. Institute and Servicevalue.
