BUWOG is constructing the new Martinshöfe urban quarter in various construction phases on the approximately 3.7-hectare site in the centre of Weingarten (Ravensburg district). It comprises around 500 rental and condominium apartments, commercial and retail space, and a neighbourhood square with an adjacent community centre. The architecture is being designed by A+R Architekten from Stuttgart.

The ground-breaking ceremony with Mayor Clemens Moll and the property developer BUWOG has already taken place. Construction work on site will begin on 4 August 2025. (MD)

The mix of around 500 apartments, ranging in size from one to five rooms, will be designed to appeal to a wide range of target groups and age groups. A total of 381 rental apartments and 126 condominiums will be built. In the rental apartment sector, there will be a total of 50 barrier-free apartments for older people in the ‘assisted living’ category. These apartments will have two to three rooms. Across the entire quarter, a total of 20 percent of all apartments will be rent-controlled for people on lower incomes. Almost all of the apartments built in Martinshöfe will have a balcony, terrace, loggia or, depending on their location a roof terrace.
