The BUWOG ALVA project is located in Lillestad, a BUWOG neighborhood. Lillestad is borrowed from the Swedish colloquial language and means small town. The name is inspired by the nordic names of the paths and avenues that surround the BUWOG building plots. When completed, this small town will be home to around 1,500 rental and owner-occupied apartments. The project is part of a major urban development project in Potsdam-Krampnitz, in which a new district of Potsdam is being created from a former barracks site, some of which is a listed building - located close to nature between Krampnitzsee and Döberitzer Heide.
Around 10,000 people will live and work there in the future. Potsdam's new north will be a sustainable and forward-looking district with a dense network of cycle paths and footpaths, innovative energy supply, schools, daycare centers, extensive green spaces and parks, city squares, restaurants and residential businesses.
Distances:
• 300 m to Krampnitzsee lake
• 900 m to Fahrlander See
• 3.5 km as the crow flies to Groß Glienicke
• 6 km to Potsdam city center
• 18 km to Berlin-Charlottenburg
