In the context of the International Garden Exhibition (IGA) 2027, a holistic neighborhood development is being planned in Dortmund-Huckarde. A new development plan is being drawn up for the district on Insterburger Strasse. Here, 44 apartments will be created through intelligent extensions as well as 91 apartments in supplementary new buildings and an attractive office building. In line with the IGA 2027 motto “how do we want to live tomorrow”, outdoor facilities with ecological green spaces and new offers for all generations are planned. By creating a green axis at the rear of Insterburger Strasse, a new footpath connection will be created, thus improving the quality of the open spaces at the same time. These will be complemented by three further buildings.
