At Harzer Straße 40 in Berlin-Neukölln, BUWOG built a total of 48 rent-controlled apartments for people with a housing subsidy certificate (WBS) in a separate construction phase at the historic Geyer Works. The apartment building at Harzer Straße 40 was constructed as a modular housing project by the company HABAU. The rent-controlled apartments (WBS 100) with 2, 3, and 4 rooms offer versatile, socially oriented living space for couples, single parents, and families. All subsidized apartments have a balcony or terrace. After completion in 2025, this socially oriented BUWOG project was sold to the municipal housing association HOWOGE, which has taken over the rental and management of the property and holds it in its portfolio.
BUWOG is building additional apartments on the adjacent site. In addition to publicly subsidized rental apartments, the neighborhood includes family-oriented condominiums, green courtyards, and a daycare center. (MD)
