At Saatwinkler Damm BUWOG is realizing a family-friendly quarter with about 1,000 apartments: "HALSKE SONNENGÄRTEN". Planned completion of the first construction phase is 2023.
All apartments will be designed as rental apartments. The focus of this new construction project is on family-friendly, larger apartments with 3 to 5 rooms. All apartments have balconies, terraces or, depending on the location, roof terraces as well as access to the green outdoor area. The various buildings, with their 4 to 7 stories plus a stacked floor, are arranged in a park-like outdoor area with new plantings of shrubs, trees and perennials, as well as recreation and dialogue areas for all generations. BUWOG is also realizing a daycare center for 100 children and a public playground with around 2,500 m² and other play areas as well as meeting and recreation areas in the quarter. The topping-out ceremony took place on 25.3.2022 together with Berlin's governing mayor Franziska Giffey.
