BUWOG THE VIEW - a front-row architectural masterpiece on the banks of the Dahme River in Berlin-Grünau. The residential ensemble consisting of three buildings is part of the sustainable Quartier 52° Nord.

Houses I and III (35 condominiums) were designed by the architectural firm PA GmbH Pätzold Architekten, Berlin. The facades of wood and reddish Corten steel are reminiscent of ship hulls, while the diamond-shaped basic structure of the buildings ensures optimized light incidence. The central House II (28 condominiums) opens to the east and west with its facade of folding glass walls. Large balconies and terraces facing the water are connected by visually "floating walkways". The designs are by the renowned architectural firm LOVE architecture and urbanism, Graz. All apartments have been sold in the meantime.

Happy living on the banks of the Dahme: Quartier 52° Nord is a sustainable residential quarter in one of Berlin's greenest districts. Based on the sponge city model, the first construction phase saw the creation of a 6,000 m² water basin, which is the visual and ecological heart of the quarter and borders the neighbourhood square with its café. By 2026, a sustainable quarter for all generations, thought out down to the last detail, will have been created.
