HAVELKIESEL consists of three modern residential buildings, one of them gently rounded like a pebble - hence the name of the ensemble. The architectural subtleties of the design by Berlin architects Andreas R. Becher and Nikolaos Hatzijordanou stage the proximity to the water: the exterior plaster of the rounded, pebble-shaped building contains a mica component that reflects the sunlight in an interesting way. The two other residential buildings are clad in light-colored, friendly-looking clinker bricks.
