From timber construction to proptech, there are plenty of new topics to discover in the “Glücklich wohnen” podcast. Season four starts on 20 April 2023 with new competent and inspiring personalities from the real estate industry.

The new podcast series kicks off with Sun Jensch from the Coalition for Timber Construction. This initiative is currently bringing together a growing number of players from the property sector. “Timber construction is political, and so are the hurdles that stand in its way,” Sun Jensch explains in the BUWOG podcast. With facts from practice and research and opportunities for dialogue at various levels, the Coalition for Timber Construction is both a source of knowledge for political discourse and a strong voice for sustainable construction. Sun Jensch: “With timber as a CO2-neutral building material, we can take a decisive step towards the Paris climate protection targets. But we have to do it now!”

The BUWOG podcast focuses on interviews concerning neighbourhood and urban development, sustainable construction and architecture. Guests in the fourth season include proptech expert Prof. Dr Verena Rock, director of the IIWM – Institute for Real Estate Economics and Management, Andreas Holler, managing director of BUWOG in Austria, as well as Nicola Krettek and Tanja Terruli from Verkehrsclub Deutschland (VCD), a German association for sustainable mobility, on the topic of housing and mobility. The internationally active curator Alexandra Grausam is also interviewed on the subject of art in construction. Elisabeth Broermann from Architects4Future will be a guest at the end of the season on 6 July.

The individual podcast episodes last from 30 to 50 minutes and can be found in German on all popular platforms such as Spotify, Google Podcasts or Apple Podcasts as well as at https://buwog.podigee.io/ (only in German)
