Graduate of engineering and property expert Udo Sauter enhances the existing management team of BUWOG Bauträger GmbH as an additional managing director.
Reinforcement for BUWOG’s course of growth: Since 1 June 2025, Udo Sauter has been contributing his numerous years of expertise in the real estate sector as an additional managing director of construction management at BUWOG Bauträger GmbH.
Born in Günzburg, Bavaria, in 1968, Udo Sauter studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Munich. Udo Sauter was previously a member of the management board of Artprojekt Real Estate GmbH in Berlin. Before that he was managing director of UBM Development Deutschland GmbH (until 2018 Münchner Grund Immobilien Bauträger GmbH) and PORR Deutschland GmbH.
Managing Director Udo Sauter reports directly to Daniel Riedl, member of the management board of Vonovia SE responsible for all BUWOG operations in Austria and BUWOG Development in Germany.

In the area of construction management, the company will press ahead in particular with serial, systemic and modular construction as well as sustainable timber construction with wood overall: BUWOG plans to build at least 20 percent of its project pipeline using the timber construction method.
