Which companies are perceived as especially trustworthy and which products live up to their promises? Now more than ever, trust is an increasingly important factor in shaping relationships between companies and their customers. It is also important for companies to continuously reaffirm the trust they have gained and to retain their customers over the long term. On behalf of DEUTSCHLAND TEST and FOCUS MONEY, the renowned Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF) has now analysed the subject of customer trust for the seventh consecutive time.
Which service providers and companies are particularly trusted by customers and consumers? The best of the best are honoured with the seal (consumer rating) for “HIGHEST TRUST”. As a result of the current study, BUWOG was also awarded the Deutschlandtest “Highest Trust 2023” seal among the property companies examined.

Around 15,000 brands studied
The “Highest Trust” study analyses around 15,000 brands from over 350 industries, examining the relevant categories of reliability, recommendation, trust and quality. To this end, the study examined what is written, rated and commented upon online as it relates to consumer experience. Tens of thousands of online messages and several million social media addresses were checked with the help of AI: Which company is mentioned? Which topic is discussed? What is the tonality of the relevant text fragment? A total of 1.8 million mentions were recorded and analysed for the study in the period from September 2022 to August 2023. The “Highest Trust” rating was awarded based on the number of points achieved in the overall ranking.
