Auszeichnung: BUWOG gewinnt German Brand Award 2024

BUWOG wins the German Brand Award for the sixth consecutive time. The company has been awarded in two classes, including the architecture category and for the nationwide “Happy Living” advertising campaign.

Initiated by the German Bundestag in 1953, the German Design Council helps strengthen design as a relevant economic factor. The annual German Brand Award – one of the most important international prizes in this area – is presented in recognition of excellent design, brand management and corporate communication.

At the 71st German Brand Awards ceremony in Berlin, BUWOG emerged twice this year as a winner. The company was distinguished as an Excellent Brand in the category “Building & Elements”. BUWOG was already distinguished for this in 2023. The company has approximately 55,000 apartments under construction and in planning nationwide and will realise at least 20 percent of this development pipeline as sustainable timber buildings.

BUWOG also received the German Brand Award in the competition’s “Brand Communication” category for its 2023 cross-media summer campaign. Here, the company theme of “Happy Living” was illustrated from a child's perspective using drawn advertising subjects accompanied by a recurring campaign slogan: More living, more diversity, more sustainability.

BUWOG was also honoured twice at the most recent European Real Estate Brand Awards. The institute’s Europe-wide survey shows a brand value of 90.83 for BUWOG – a top value in the industry benchmark.
