The new year is starting off at BUWOG with a change in management: Beginning in February 2022, Kevin Töpfer (42) is taking over the business area of property management from Valerija Karsai, in addition to his current position in commercial management. During her six years at BUWOG, Karsai, who is leaving the company and pursuing new challenges, was initially department director and, since 2019 as managing director, has played a primary role for the continued positive development of property management at BUWOG, which encompasses the areas of portfolio management, property management and portfolio sales.

I have always greatly appreciated our cooperation and sincerely wish her all the best for her professional and private future,” says Daniel Riedl, member of the management board of Vonovia SE responsible for all BUWOG operations in Austria. “I am delighted that we have been able to recruit Kevin Töpfer as Ms Karsai's successor. I wish him every success in his future area of responsibility and am convinced that, with his professional and managerial experience and because of his many years of service to our company, he will perform this function in the best possible way, professionally and with commitment.”

A graduate of law, Kevin Töpfer looks back on around 20 years of professional experience and has supported BUWOG in various positions since 2013. He has been commercial director since 1 December 2019.

“As the new managing director of BUWOG property management, I am taking over a fantastic team from Valerija Karsai, and I already see the most important prerequisite for excellent cooperation fulfilled. Together we have big plans for 2022 in property management, and I’m looking forward to the new area of responsibility,” Kevin Töpfer explains.

As of February 2022, BUWOG management will then consist of Kevin Töpfer and Andreas Holler, who is responsible for development at BUWOG.
