The official start of construction for the project took place on 15 June as part of a small ceremony marking the symbolic groundbreaking. Among those in attendance were BUWOG Managing Director Andreas Holler, Mayor Thomas Steiner, SPÖ Party Chairman and Government Coordinator Robert Hergovich, Planning Director Werner Fleischhacker, CEO of Handler Holding GmbH Markus Handler as well as Handler Holding GmbH Managing Director Barbara Freiler, architurbo Managing Director Nikolas Turbock, and Provincial Police Director Martin Huber.
