  • GOLD certification for sustainability
  • Best residential quality with state-of-the-art communal spaces
  • Optimal connections due to proximity to Vienna Central Station
  • Only seven apartments still available

From 6 to 8 October 2025, the annual EXPO REAL, Europe’s largest trade fair for real estate, took place in Munich. As the most active full-service provider on the Austrian residential property market, BUWOG was once again present and delighted to receive a special honour this year: at the BUWOG stand, Peter Engert, managing director of the Austrian Sustainable Building Council (ÖGNI), presented the BUWOG team with the ÖGNI’s gold certification for sustainability for the DECK ZEHN project.

In addition to its ideal location in the immediate vicinity of Vienna Central Station, the new construction project stands out due to its high quality of sustainability. The extensive measures range from product and chemical management to the assurance of biodiversity and a lifecycle assessment including a lifecycle cost analysis and much more. In addition to the high quality of residential and numerous communal facilities, such as shared office space, a wellness area featuring a sauna, an outdoor fitness area, and urban gardening areas on the rooftop, residents also benefit from the first-rate quality of the building materials and construction products used. To promote sustainable mobility, all of the purchasers also receive a free annual ticket for Vienna’s public transport system.

The BUWOG DECK ZEHN project offers numerous advantages for its residents – currently, 7 apartments are still available.

“We are delighted and extremely proud that another one of our new construction projects has been recognised by ÖGNI. This reflects our strong commitment to sustainable project development and spurs us on to continue setting an example in this area,” says Andreas Holler, managing director of BUWOG Group GmbH.

Comprising a total of 229 privately financed condominiums on Laxenburger Straße in Vienna’s Favoriten district, the project has already attracted a considerable number of residents – there are currently only seven apartments that remain available.
