MARINA TOWER is and will remain a highlight of the Vienna skyline – this is confirmed not only by the awards already won by the joint project of BUWOG and IES Immobilien, but also by the nomination for the 2022 FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Austria. As one of three residential projects, MARINA TOWER is among the finalists for the coveted real estate award in the residential category – a highly special honour, as Andreas Holler, managing director of MARINA TOWER Holding GmbH, points out: “MARINA TOWER is one of the most sensational residential projects of recent years. FIABCI is an international real estate association that presents one of the most coveted international awards for construction projects in 28 countries. The FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Austria was initiated in 2018 and is now awarded at a two-year interval. The winners will be selected at a festive gala night on 20 October 2022. The award is presented to outstanding, innovative real estate projects from Austria. The projects are evaluated by an interdisciplinary jury on the basis of criteria such as interaction with the surrounding environment, social added value and their potential effect as a role model for the industry.

MARINA TOWER: more than just a residential tower

Located directly on the Handelskai with 511 residential units, a height of 140 m, 44,850 sqm of floor area, striking architecture (Zechner & Zechner) and an unparalleled location on the Danube, MARINA TOWER is currently Austria's tallest and perhaps most spectacular residential tower. The joint project of BUWOG and IES Immobilien was completed in January 2022, signalling the launch of development of the Vienna Waterfront.
