European Property Award

  • Successful gala night for BUWOG
  • Award in the category “Residential Development 20+ Units”
  • Sales began recently for the 229 privately financed condominiums at Vienna Central Station

This year’s European Property Awards took place in London on 27 October 2022. DECK ZEHN was a success this year in the category “Residential Development 20+ Units Austria”. The BUWOG project was honoured at an exclusive gala evening.

The submissions were judged by an international jury comprising real estate experts, architects and journalists. The projects were evaluated on the basis of fixtures and fittings, location, architecture, sustainability and innovation, and the accompanying marketing.

“It’s always an immense pleasure and fills us with pride when our projects stand out in international comparison and win awards. This confirms to us that we’re on the right track as the most active private developer. We provide residential space that not only meets the highest standards of quality, but is also thoroughly state of the art,” says Andreas Holler, managing director of BUWOG Group GmbH.

Living in the pulsating heart of Vienna

DECK ZEHN, which is being built in very close proximity to Vienna Central Station, offers one- to four-room apartments ranging from 37 sqm to 99 sqm and outstanding conditions for every living situation. Planned by the architectural firm BKK3-Architekten, all 229 of the apartments feature open areas, but a special highlight is the 11-floor project’s rooftop terrace, where future residents will not only enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the city, but also have the opportunity to use urban gardening areas, celebrate BBQs with neighbours, family and friends in the open kitchen, or relax in the specially equipped yoga area. Residents will also have access to a sauna area and an outdoor fitness zone. A co-working space will fulfil every home office requirement, thereby enabling the spatial separation of living and working at home.

The energy supply provided by means of district heating is supplemented by a photovoltaic installation. Despite the optimal public transport connections through Vienna Central Station (several commuter train, tram and bus lines as well as long-distance trains), there are 78 parking spaces available for motorists in the building’s own underground car park. Completion is planned for autumn of 2023.

Sales for the 229 condominiums are already fully underway – interested buyers can find further information at deckzehn.buwog.at.
