Monte Laa

My Favorite in Favoriten

The Favorite Tower offers impressive views of downtown, the Prater, and the south and west of Vienna. The tower stands 35 stories tall, with particularly spacious apartments on the 29th floor and above offering the highest level of living comfort.

New York Style in Favoriten

The innovative double facade with interior windows and a thermal buffer provides enhanced sound insulation, while controlled ventilation optimally supplies the apartments with fresh air. This facade solution helps improve the indoor climate and can reduce energy consumption thanks to its insulating buffer effect. Optimal room temperature control is ensured by concrete core activation, supplementary cooling, and external sun protection in the form of elegant external blinds.

The Favorit Tower also offers numerous amenities: storage rooms, modern shared office spaces, practical common areas, a guest lounge, and a sauna are available to residents. A playground for children and teenagers on the roof of the podium building, as well as a multi-level parking garage on the 1st through 3rd floors, round out the offerings. In the podium area – which is used for commercial purposes, among other things – there are also plans to bring in a local retailer.

Location

Laaer-Berg-Strasse 45, 1100 Vienna

Practically “on top of the hill,” the Favorite Tower stands majestically on Laaer Berg. Directly behind it lies Monte Laa Park, which offers a wide range of recreational and sports activities, including a skate park, an athletics field, and a playground. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find kindergartens, a middle school, a high school, the PÄDAK, a technical college (HTL), and the Campus Wien university, as well as the large Laaer Berg recreational area with the famous Löwygrube. Those looking for even more action will find it at the Böhmischer Prater; there are also numerous allotment garden communities nearby.

For soccer fans, the Generali Arena – the home stadium of Austria Vienna – and its adjacent sports facilities are a highlight. Right next to the Tower is a pharmacy, across the street is a supermarket, and the Viktor-Adler-Markt is just a 15-minute bus ride away – ideal for buying fresh groceries.

Through Alfred-Böhm Park, you can walk directly to Favoritenstraße, a popular shopping street that stretches all the way to Vienna Central Station. Along the way, the Tichy ice cream parlor on Reumannplatz entices visitors with its world-famous apricot dumplings. If you’d like to get a little exercise after indulging, you can visit the historic Amalienbad across the street.

The project’s location offers excellent access to both public transportation and private vehicles. The U1 takes you to the main train station in about 17 minutes, or you can continue on to downtown – in the other direction, the Oberlaa Spa Park is just a few stops away. The nearest bus stops are served by routes 68A, 68B, and N. By car, you can quickly reach the A23 in five minutes via the Favoriten interchange and continue on to the A21 and A2, which lead out into the countryside and are perfect for a day trip out of the city.
