BUWOG is a subsidiary of Vonovia SE, Germany's largest private housing provider. As such, we also benefit from Vonovia's numerous innovations and research in the broad field of sustainability.
Climate roadmap through 2050
Sustainability has been practiced at Vonovia for many years and is an integral part of the company’s self-image. In 2020, the sustainability goals were established even more firmly in the corporate strategy. In view of the growing importance of major trends and changing stakeholder expectations, the corporate strategy was also analysed and expanded this year. Vonovia is openly committed to sustainable action in the areas of environment, social affairs and corporate governance.
Sustainability report
Since 2020, our sustainability reporting has been fully integrated into the Vonovia Group Sustainability Report. Our sustainability reporting is undergoing realignment: the “Sustainability Report” is being replaced by a greater diversification of our reporting platforms. In the future, the focus will be on the Annual Report in accordance with CSRD requirements (from FY24). It will be accompanied by other key sustainability indicators, which we present in our ESG Factbook.
